Citing TechSussd and the API
The register is meant to be cited. These terms say how, and where the line is.
The pages
Every page is free to read, quote and cite, by people, journalists and AI assistants alike, as long as you say where it came from.
Attribution
Name TechSussd, link to the page, and give the date the fact was checked, for example:
Source: TechSussd (techsussd.com/register), checked 8 October 2026
Keep a fact's own source with it where you show it. Do not suggest that we, or any study we cite, endorse you or your product.
The API
The API is not open yet. These terms will apply to it when it opens.
The API is read-only and is for citation and non-commercial use. Every object it returns carries its source, the date it was checked and the version of the rules that graded it; keep those with the data when you use it.
Anonymous use has a low ceiling. A free key raises it. When you reach a limit, the response says when to try again; please wait until then.
What you may not do
- Re-publish the register, or a substantial part of it, in bulk.
- Build a competing database from it, whether at once or a little at a time.
- Use the API for commercial purposes without our written agreement.
- Strip the source, date or rules version from data you show.
- Present our pages or data as your own.
Sources that are not ours
Some facts come from sources with their own terms, such as the US National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI). Their terms travel with their data. NCBI does not endorse or recommend any commercial product, including ours.
Changes and ending access
We may change these terms, with the new version dated at the top of this page, and we may withdraw a key that is used against them. Questions and requests for commercial use: hello@techsussd.com.
