Accuracy evidence

  • Heart rate at rest

    Unvalidated

No published test we can use yet. That's not proof it's poor, just no evidence either way.

  • Heart rate in steady exercise

    Limited

    1. Measured in steady exercise in 28 people, against a reference of ECG chest strap: correlation of r 0.91, which on its own does not show agreement. Not assessable under our rules.

In steady cycling, Fixture Watch 8 correlated with the chest strap at r = 0.91.
